You Can Help
Kidney disease is a major cause of death in Canada. Over 2 million Canadians suffer from kidney disease or kidney-related conditions, (high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes.) The Kidney Foundation relies on the support of the public and good corporate citizens to help us reduce the burden of kidney disease. There are many ways you can help:
1) Financially support us by:
a) Making an individual donation:
Donate to honour a loved one,
Commit to a Monthly Giving Program
Remember us in your Will
Donate RRSPs and/or RRIFs
Name us as beneficiary in a Life Insurance policy
Establish an Endowment Fund
Donate public Securities
b) Making a Corporate Donation
c) Donating your unwanted vehicle to the Kidney Car Program
2) Get personally involved by:
a) Becoming an Organ Donor
b) Volunteering your time and talents at our Special Events
March Drive
The Kidney Walk in British Columbia
c) Joining the Chapter in your community
d) Hosting your own event i.e. have a Garage Sale with proceeds to The Kidney Foundation
e) Becoming a Student Intern during the summer to help promote Recycle for Life events, and
from January to March 2012 for the promotion of Kidney Health Month
